The Piano Workshop for Amateur Pianists
- 1
- The organiser of the Piano Workshop, hereinafter called “Workshop”, is the Fryderyk Chopin Society with its registered office at ul. Tamka 43, 00-355 Warszawa, hereinafter called “Organiser”.
- The purpose of the Workshop is to give piano playing enthusiasts from all over the world, hereinafter called “Participants”, an opportunity to hone their skills and develop their talent during piano classes taught by a pianist/piano teacher, Bronisława Kawalla.
- The Workshop is open to amateur adult pianists who do not earn their living from piano performance or instruction.
- The Workshop will include on-site piano classes which will be held from April 20th to 24th, 2026 in the concert room located in the Kawai Showroom at 4 Książęca Street in Warsaw.

- Persons wishing to attend the Workshop are requested to complete the on-line application form
and to pay a participation fee of 1000 EURO or 4200 PLN.
- The application form should be submitted to amator@chopin.pl no later than 15 March 2026.
- Payment of the participation fee should be made into the Organiser’s account after receiving information that the application has been accepted but no later than 25 March 2026.

Accepted Participants will receive a refund of the fee if they notify the Organiser of their resignation from the Workshop no later than 30 March 2026. After that date the fee will not be refunded.
- The Workshop’s capacity is limited to 6 pianists. Spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. In the case of a participant’s resignation, the next person on the waitlist will get the vacated spot. If less than 4 applications are received, the Workshop will be cancelled.

- Each Participant will have five fifty-minute lessons (5 x 50 minutes). The lessons will be in Polish or English. If a participant requires a translator, the Organiser will provide one, depending on their availability and for an additional fee.
- Within the framework of the Workshop programme each Participant is entitled to piano-practice time of four hours every day.
- A closing concert will be held on the last day of the Workshop (April 24th) for the Participants to demonstrate their repertoires earlier consulted with the teacher.
- Each Workshop Participant will receive a certificate.
- The Organiser recommends the Hotel Chopin Boutique at 14 Smolna Street within walking distance from the Kawai Showroom. The hotel offers special rates for the Participants.
- The lessons will be held in accordance with the timetable drawn up by the Organiser. In the event of a Participant’s absence, the teacher will not be obliged to conduct the lesson at a different time, but will have to do so if she fails to conduct a lesson, at a mutually convenient time

Taking photos or any method of visual or sound recording of the Workshop activities without the Organiser’s prior consent in writing is prohibited.

- Your personal data

- may be transferred to entities authorized to receive such data under relevant laws;
- will be stored no longer than provided for by the law on records storage;

- You have the right to access, rectify and limit the processing of your personal data and to transfer it.
- You have the right to complain to the controlling body – The President of the Data Protection Office, in a manner specified by GDPR.
- You are obliged to supply your personal data necessary for entry into the contract in question.

Submission of the application will be treated as the applicant’s acceptance of the Rules.
